We are really pleased to announce that our project, Congo's Activist in Exile, won a 'Highly Commended' award for Outstanding Public and Community Engagement Initiative at the Making a Difference Awards!
We are thrilled that our work to bring awareness to the plight of refugees in the UK has been rewarded and that the story of Jenny Dakosta Van Mputu has gained significant traction to help him gain leave to remain.
We would like to thank The University of Manchester and their social responsibility team for recognising our hard work.
Going forward, we hope that our work continues to make even a small difference for people and communities who still don't have a chance to tell their stories.
